For any gourmand, one of the best things about New York is the abundance of good pastrami. You can find some of the best in the city at Katz’s Delicatessen on the Lower East Side. Thick, tender, fatty slices, with rye bread and pickle—if that doesn’t sound like heaven to you, you’re not a New Yorker.
