The New York Fire Department has always been full of heroes, and the events of September 2001 confirmed this once again. This restored firehouse celebrates the history of the FDNY; it’s full of antique fire engines, equipment from as far back as the 18th century, and a pole for the firemen to slide down. In addition to the equipment, there is an extensive collection of fire fighting art on display.
