Street Musicians

Street and subway musicians provide a much–needed lyrical touch to the concrete jungle, and New Yorkers are often willing to give a little something to say thanks for the show. While some street musicians hardly sound better than the screeching subways they compete with, others have genuine talent, and with a guitar or flute or makeshift drums they perform skillfully on subway platforms, sidewalks, parks, or anywhere else they can find space and an audience.
